ASIC Launches SME Online Hub

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission launches an online hub for small businesses after receiving feedback they were "out of touch" with the community.

The regulators did reach out to small business in 2010-2012 and found that they have limited knowledge about ASIC. On the other hand, senior executive leader Brett Bassett did acknowledge that, “The other thing was the information we were providing was long, complicated and time-consuming to read.”

The new online hub is simple, clear and straightforward.
